Our Leadership

MAWD is governed by a six member Board of Directors comprised of shareholder pathologists, and lead by a Chief Executive Officer, Chiefs Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Together, they oversee the operational aspects of our labs, offices, and over 250 employees.

Eric Ewing,  MD

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Eric Ewing earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, completed his residency at the University of Missouri School of Medicine and his fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

​

Dr. Ewing joined MAWD in 2018 and was selected by the board to serve as Chief Executive Officer in 2025. Dr. Ewing will be working to guide the Physicians and Staff as they  continue the excellent quality and care that they provide to all the Patients and Clinicians serviced by MAWD.
