Dr. Breckenridge is Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Immunohematology, and Medical Microbiology. He is also Certified as having Special Expertise in Breast Predictive Factors Testing by the College of American Pathologists.

Dr. Breckenridge received his medical degree from the Jefferson College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a Medicine internship at Berkshire Medical Center where he also completed his Anatomic & Clinical pathology residency. He went on to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for fellowship training.

Dr. Breckenridge joined MAWD Pathology Group in 1980. He is very active in the College of American Pathologists (CAP), where he was elected to the twelve-pathologist Board of Governors for two terms. He has just been selected as the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award by the CAP (June 2011).
